Hwal-Gong
Hwal-Gong is a system of massage from the Korean tradition of healing arts. Superficially similar to Shiatsu Massage, which takes its' name from Japanese-adapted Chinese characters literally meaning "Acupressure". Hwal-Gong seeks to relieve pain and induce relaxation by facilitating the flow of energy through the energy channels of the body called the meridians.
A hwal-Gong session is done on the floor on a mat. Through specialized massage techniques blockages in the meridians are opened up which facilitates a revitalization of the body and the mind.
